Next up this classic, again from 1981, this time the third studio album from her and the only one to top the US Billboard chart going double Platinum. Delivering two singles Promises In The Dark and the wonderful Fire and Ice. Great rock vocals from Pat and super guitar playing from Niel Giraldo.
Another Original release and one of the better Chrysalis UK pressings.

Last up before work beckons is this great compilation from an absolute favourite of mine. Everyone should have at least one of her albums and this is a great compilation of her work upto 1992.

Virtually anything by Keith Jarrett is worth listening to. I have seen him play live twice (both times in London), and both were memorable experiences.

Picked this up in a charity shop today. From what I thought I knew about Richard Hawley, I was expecting some 'bluesy' guitar playing. Oh dear, the guy can sing, but it was not what I was expecting - my partner said it sounded like he was singing at a funeral. Despite all the rave reviews, it was not to my taste: so it will go back to the charity shop tomorrow.
