thanks for that. I had seen a video they do for the install of their PSU. Their one is an internal unit which replaces the technics board. The PSU I have is all external - looking for a method to connect12v to the Technics board in a similar fashion (i think) to the obsolete Time step PSU.
Does the technics work on 12V?

not sure - this is what I need to find out. Most TT run on 12v. The funk firm PSU is 12v.
Are you sure?Smoothie is also available in 24V for Technics decks, thus removing the on-board transformers and associated field.

I thought it was 21v when I did my 1210 years ago
Edit: just checked a photo of my Paul Hynes psu for the 1210 and it was definitely 21v as written on the label.

Thank you Mikeyb, do you think the newer 1200G is the same voltage?
I know the old PSU is 21V, but I could not tell you what the G needs.
