Virtually anything by Ry Cooder is good - but I have my doubts regarding' Bop Till You Drop'.I have that album, great pairing, my only other Ry Cooder is Bop Till You Drop
It was Cooder's first digital recording, and it shows. Spatially all the musicians are flat and pop in and out like the flags on an old-fashioned cash register, or the ducks in a fairground shooting gallery. Shame because the musicianship and writing are up there with Cooder's best.
