£20 for a pint of beer? That's not going to happen, nobody will pay it.

Testing broadband speed and 3 different services gave 3 different speeds.
Shows you can't really trust any for sure.
I will go with the lower.
    622mb..580mb..509mb..
    Supposed to be 500 tops.

maybe we will see the return of speakeasys selling home brew? No pointless regulations, no licensing hours, no children, and you'll be able to smoke in there too. It will be almost like living in a free country again.

Well hopefully it won't turn out like Russia where hundreds die or go blind every year from drinking home brewed stuff laced with methyl alcohol.

That's spirits though not beer. Brewing half decent beer's not hard, even I've managed to do it.

Harry and Megan, just what is the frigging point of them? Come to think of it, what is the point of the Royals at all, time to give them the boot?

Liz Truss to address the nation later today. Think I'll make a point of giving that a miss!

I don't know about 'the state of the nation', but the nation is in a right old state. Granted it's not necessarily all the fault of our government, but there's not been even a whiff of anything useful coming from them.

Does the whole world hate Liz Truss?

(A: No, she’s quite popular in the Baltics, and parts of the Indo-Pacific.)

I don't think tourists actually get to meet the Queen, or any of the Royals. But they do get to visit our national monuments, all of which would still be standing even if the Royals aren't.
