I bet your next pair of tracky bottoms don't last as long. Most stuff you buy nowadays lasts 3 washes and then its f@%d.

Consumables like clothing are never intended to be long lived. Puma will have been horrified to find that their products were enjoying such longevity, and no doubt have since addressed the problem.

Of course Denim then was real denim - as thick as cardboard! I had a pair of flared Brutus Gold Jeans back in 1977, the denim was so stiff they stood up on their own when I took them off.
