On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

I suppose the real key to it is to make your own leccy. Was looking at those windmill things but they have to be sited twenty foot from your property boundary so it's a rich man's game, not for us terraced house people. Shame as it's always windy here and just one of them would cover all my power needs.
Probably only applies to those full-size jobbies. If you were to get some of those they sell on Blackpool sea front (about 5,000 should do the trick) and stick them all over your roof you'd be laughing. As would your neighbours

Don't know how you'd wire them though, that's someone else's department. I'm just the ideas man.

After a week or so in Dorset/Cornwall/Devon, we've just arrived back. And there's a NIP in the air (Notice of Intended Prosecution) from Dorset Constabulary. For doing 63mph in a fifty. Anita's ticket though, not mine She wishes she'd let me drive her baby now.

Hoping she will be eligible for speed awareness course instead of points, but I don't know what the requirements are.

No way I'm ever going to Blackpool so that idea's out.

Although that does give me the idea of getting a donkey, have it gong around on one of those boom things like in the westerns.

Would fit in my back yard if I got a little one and passing children would bring it food - carrots and stuff - to keep it going. Plus there's lots of weeds it can munch on.

The A39 out of Truro is a bugger, with its mobile speed camera vans tucked away on down-gradients just to catch those whose speed inadvertantly creeps up. Drivers heading west get acclimatised to hours of the 70 limit on the A30 and A303 and after that, the jump down to 60 mph won't necessarily register immediately.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
