If, as Putin asserts, there is no war. What are the thousands of people killed through his military actions in Ukraine, murder victims?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

My mate's son has been seeing a Russian girl (from St. Petersburg) for a couple of years, they live together in London. She is currently not on speaking terms with her parents back home, who don't believe a word of it. They're convinced she is being brainwashed and should never have gone to England.

Normal people like you or me stay at a hotel we pretty much never order room service because we know from experience that it's usually crap and it's always hideously expensive.

So why is it in films/tv that the spy, or witness or whatever can't wait to get on the blower and order it? Even though they've been told 'Don't open the door to anyone'

It's absolutely guaranteed that the room service bloke will be an assassin in disguise, or will have put a bomb in the trolley, or some other ruse.

Just send one of the FBI agents or whatever out to get some KFC or something. Or better still get them to put you up in a military base or a police station or anywhere that the general public can't just wander in and out of at will. Really not hard.

The spy/witness doesn't even need to order room service, it will come anyway. And he will open the door to tell the incompetent fool. In person, as that is the only way they will learn.

You got to watch out for the window cleaner and the maintenance man too. And the agents guarding you will be no use, dead in seconds.

Not really worth them assigning anyone to begin with really.

    Worlds best mancave:

    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknew...603b817dcb15e5

of course the local council want to pull it down so he's bought all the properties surrounding it so the bulldozers can't get to it.

Funny how local councils are shit hot when it comes to this sort of thing but they struggle to keep the streets clean and in a good state of repair.
