I know but I didn't think it was lost - I was 100 percent it was on that table until I searched. And there was nothing there to hide it really, just a couple of books and some unopened letters, all of which I moved.

Anyway it's back in my coat pocket now and I went out and got some cash. Wind is really getting up now. On my way back saw two dogs shagging outside the tyre fitting place so spring must be getting near.

Sky News have just said that 20 Russian warships are due to start exercises in the Caspian Sea. Surely they mean the Black Sea? The Caspian Sea is landlocked, there's no way of getting ships to it or from it.

They do have some ships in the Caspian. But it's no-where near Ukraine.

Just had a look. It is accessible it seems, but it's a hell of a twisty route with many locks, no chance of a swift deployment from there. Not sure big stuff would get through.

The 'Thought Police' are everywhere. If you write what you think, Sensitivity Readers will get you.
