Was driving me big luton van on sunday, when it suddenly started pulling to the right, thought the steering rack was leaking again, so stopped and filled it, that did nothing (been waiting months for new rack). Got home and saw that drivers side wheel was misaligned, slightly bent out, so went to drive it to garage monday morning, and as soon as I went to pull out, the drivers side front tyre burst. Called AA and they said the drivers side upper wishbone had completely sheared off, so had to wait for a big truck to take me to garage. Had its MOT back in August. It's a 2008 van, so getting on a bit. Just lucky it didn't happen while on the road on sunday, my missus was with me then as well. I really need to buy another freaking van, at the least a smaller one for work and private use. I did go over a speed bump too fast the other day, as there are many around my area, and it get's tedious. Also someone told me that on monday morning a taxi backed into me, couldn't see any damage, but may'be he helped to dislodge the wishbone. Just goes to show an MOT isn't solid proof that your vehicle is road worthy.
