I found it a really difficult listen when I first bought it but it has grown on me over the years.I only play one of the sides: Side 2 of Record 2: "Miles Runs the Voodoo Down". The other sides are OK but 2/2 is by far my favourite. Don't know why.
Love the cover artwork by Mati Klarwein - as I do his cover for Santana's "Abraxas".
'In a Silent Way' is one of my favourite MD albums and see BB as a kind of slightly more random extended version.
After listening to Pharoah Sanders 'Karma' immediately before it doesn't feel quite as extreme.
Agree that the cover art is fantastic
