I found the article very interesting and simply confirmed what I already knew and have always hated about the British Empire, colonialism and the British 'establishment'. And it's just as big a problem now, as it's ever been, and presenting a major threat to democracy!

no its not right but its commonplace, and for various reasons, although its mostly to protect the guilty, it also protects some innocents.
