    I'm afraid the therapy failed.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Shure M75ED cartridge in my TD150 II, fitted with a very rare NOS Goldring M75E stylus. Yes, that's right, Goldring made replacement styli for Shure cartridges for a while and this one is unused (until now). I expect it to be every bit as good as the Shure original, it's sounding truly fine.
The colour makes it look like something that comes out of a cracker [emoji38]

Bugger! My faithful old Pioneer PD-S505 Precision CD player has given up. It loads, but won't play. Good job I have a few more players.

The Shure M75ED works well in the Thorens TP13 arm. Lived with that combination for a year.

It's sounding vastly better than I had anticipated (or remembered). I was going to bung an ADC or even ZYX in the deck, but I will put a hold on that for now.

Wise move Geoff. I don't think the TP13 arm is up to the likes of an ADC (10E ?) cartridge.
