An ebay bargain? Who can say, but it'll sound amazing in a suitable arm .
I used to have one, used with a Goldring G99 deck and a Decca {I]ffss[/I] arm. Sold the lot to the Grand Wazoo (late of this parish). Still have a sample of the 1/2" mounting version: the SC4E and a Mk.III, which I can use in a Decca arm or with the Decca/SME adaptor for arms with a SME/EIA coupling.

I keep an eye on ebay and although there are exceptions, selling prices seem to be down generally lately. I'm sure the current fuel shortage will discourage collections at the moment, but the downward trend in final values started months ago.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I have also noticed that. Items I was looking at a couple of months back are still there but at asking prices about 50% less than they were. I have taken advantage.

I'm not really looking for anything at the moment. The house is already full of unused audio gear; much to my partner's dismay.

The cost of items that would interest me have not changed noticeably.

My first amp was made by a Mr. Sugar. I've never forgiven him.
