Just ordered a DVD of 'BLOW-UP' 1966, with David Hemmings. I haven't seen it for maybe forty years, but remember finding it fascinating.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

An old drama now from director George Stevens. A Place In The Sun, 1951, stars Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, Raymond Burr and Shelley Winters.
The film earned an estimated $3.5 million at the US and Canadian box office, and earned critical acclaim in 1951.[6][7]
Upon seeing the film, Charlie Chaplin called it "the greatest movie ever made about America".

Hopscotch, 1980. Directed by Ronald Neame, and stars Walter Matthau, Glenda Jackson, Sam Waterston, Ned Beatty, and Herbert Lom.
According to Neame in the special feature "Introduction by Neame & Garfield", the Jewish Matthau refused to film on location in Germany, as he had lost many relatives in the Holocaust. However, he wanted to have Neame cast his son David and later his stepdaughter Lucy Saroyan, so Matthau gave in. David Matthau played Ross, the CIA agent Kendig takes prisoner after leaving Myerson's house, and Saroyan the pilot who takes Kendig to Bermuda.
According to Neame, he did not think they could get Glenda Jackson, but she and Matthau had previously worked together in the 1978 film House Calls, and she was delighted with the prospect of reteaming with him.

not one of the duke's best this but it has a good story; as similar as it was to the others. jack elam didnt get to work in wayne's next film as wayne felt he upstaged him several times... shows how childish actors can be.
