I don't believe Glam Rock has anything to do with the music anyway. It's purely a visual thing. If you could hear a song on the radio by a Glam Rock band, never having seen them you wouldn't be able to identify them as such. A listener may or may not like a particular band's music, but to write it off because the band has a "Glam Rock" image is a bit blinkered imo
