I have an ex who was the same. You could track her progress through the house by the carelessly discarded shoes, coats, bags and miscellaneous bits and pieces.
On the plus side she never complained about large, half-built DIY loudspeakers in the living room; you've got to take the rough with the smooth.

Del has never complained about my hi-fi stuff either, even with having speakers in almost every room in the house, and in the car - and most of them not small!

There’s a small pile of shoes in her corner of the bedroom but none left around the house, thank goodness! That really would set my CDO off majorly and, luckily, she knows it!Lol - I think it must be! Does she also 'abandon' her shoes simply where they're been removed? That's a particular per hate of mine, as heels are so easy to trip over!

In terms of the bit in bold, does she also have 'her' wardrobe, 'her' cupboards, 'her' drawers, etc, which she's quite private about? That was the problem we had, and the general lack of space, which is why Del wanted her own dressing room.
