    Don't remember too much of it, except the wonderful line about Allen's fictional parents (?) who are always arguing and sued for divorce. The first and only time they had a simultaneous orgasm was when the judge awards them a decree absolute.

    It's a quaint film I guess. Maybe not a classic but worth the watching

    Ice Station Zebra, 1968. Directed by John Stuges and stars Rock Hudson, Patrick McGoohan, Ernest Borgnine, and Jim Brown.



    This was photographed in Super Panavision 70 by Daniel L. Fapp, but although very popular in cinemas, you only got the best experience from Super Panavision 70 equipped ones. it failed to repoup production costs.

    Watched that a few weeks back, nearly didn't make it through but persevered. The ending is a huge anticlimax after the struggle of staying awake through it all.

    Supposedly Howard Hughes's favourite film. When he wanted to watch it he would call up the TV channel he owned and order them to broadcast it.

    I watched it a few times. Can't say it really gripped me and the casting was a bit incongruous.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    I've got 'The Irishman' to watch tonight.

    Totally forgot I pre-ordered it a while back but it turned up the other day. Then I totally forgot I had it. Only found it by accident while looking for some work stuff.
