The Audiolab is very, very good Guys.
A precision tool for the job, steps up even with a far more expensive Dac.
Anyone looking for a CD transport should seriously look at one of these, even if your budget is many times higher than the £379 it costs.
Like Martins comparison, it bettered my Oppo as well, and that’s been taken very far from stock.
Solid build, some heft to it too.

All my perfectly adequate CD players are broken, that's what has forced me down this route. But it is giving very good results.
