    What a terrible thing to read

    Ronnie had one of the best voices in rock and his death is a desperately sad thing to..........words fail me.

    Just can't believe this. I didn't even know he was ill.

    We were talking about this at your house when we were playing Stargazer how it sounds better on vinyl. That album Rainbow Rising and that track Stargazer was so important to me early on, when I first got into rock music and the other two tracks from the Kerry Livgren album are also important later on for diffeent reasons.

    Ronnie had one of those amazing voices just so unique and magical. There is no one else that comes close to him imho.

    Little man - big, big voice.
    I guess Rainbow Rising meant a lot to an awful lot of folks, - it did to me back then, but he did a whole lot more too besides.
