Fair enough, I do, and would derive ENOUROUS delight from implementing it!!
Nothing would give me greater pleasure than taking those c*nts down a peg or two. And the Royal Family would be next, especially peado Prince Andrew!!

So the figures quoted for his wealth in the Rich List are false? It's not just earnings or cash in the bank that makes you rich, but ASSETS, stocks and shares included, with a significant monetary value, and which of course you can SELL for a fortune when the time is right, and then put it all in the bank then!
How much did Gates make when he sold Microsoft? And how much would Bezos make, if right now, he sold Amazon..?

I'm guy.
As long as we have capitalism we will have the morality of the market, that is the market decides. People shop online because they get exactly what they want, at the best price, usually anyway there are exceptions. The internet brings with it a tendency to monopoly because it feeds a world wide market, so your average shopkeeper can now broaden his market to not only his local high st, but the entire fucking world!! Admittedly this wont't work if someone in outer Mongolia wants a pint of goats milk, but it will work for say a cycle shop. Has it killed the high street? Well the shops just get turned into something else, like another bloody coffee shop, or a charity shop, yeh its killed the street, this is only the beginning, like I said, its unstoppable, the morality of the market always wins.

For some reason the UK Column video hosted by Brian Gerrish is still listed as a must see several months on.
Brian Gerrish is a known wako. I've had the displeasure of meeting him.
He is responsible for supporting a convicted peadophile. He supports Freeman on the land nonsense. For those who are unaware of this. It is a wako belief that we are all enslaved at birth in statute law. Blah, blah, nonsense, birth certificate, law of the land, Common purpose, Neurolinguistic programming.
The guy and his UK Column news paper and youtube channel make an interesting psychology study if nothing else. Suffice to say...take anything put out by these nutters with a pinch of salt.
Please check out this link about him on rational wiki:-

Good post, Mike. I fully concur. So essentially then you're saying that capitalism has 'created' the current 'system'? Too many years under Tory rule, I guess?
As I said, that's the problem with 'isms': they're too extreme ONE WAY, and capitalism in that respect is no different from socialism or communism. Extremes of ANYTHING are never the answer!
However, all to some extent have good points, so if you could take all of those and combine them into a new 'ism'. that might be the answer. 'Rationalism', perhaps?
However, the problem is those behind whatever 'ism' represents the bias of the political party in power, only ever want their policies to be true to the values of their chosen 'ism', so you end up with the extremes of those 'isms', instead of happy mediums, and with ordinary people being subjected to the worst of those extremes, which with capitalism is the grossly unjust and unfair division of wealth and opportunities.
However, people are also their own worst enemies and, so along with capitalist-minded Tories, have helped create 'the system' we have now. When shopping, people today (although count me out) are WAY too driven by price and convenience, and not enough by QUALITY, so the mantra has for some time now always been 'cheap as possible is best', together with the minimum possible effort required to get it, simply because no-one today has any time!
Therefore, it's no wonder then that the high street is dying, in terms of the existence of shops that are actually worth having, not cheap, chavvy convenience shite, charity shops and mediocre eateries. So 'the people' [today's couch potato, mouse-clicking shoppers] have got what they wanted, or perhaps what their lazy, superficial, dumb-ass behaviour has created. Hell mend them - and it will only get worse!
Marco.

Btw, I went shopping yesterday in Lidl for the first time since the buying of 'non-essentials' were banned - and.... IT WAS GREAT!
Car park was deserted, shop was half empty, shelves stocked full of everything I was after, and no queues at checkouts - result! So they can keep this up for as long as they like, as far as I'm concerned
More seriously though... This is *totally wrong*, and no wonder the poor woman was upset: https://www.aol.co.uk/news/2020/10/2...ducts-in-wels/
Defo an 'essential item', and so insensitive of whoever was responsible not to consider it as such. Del would've been raging if it'd been her, although fortunately she keeps good stocks of those sorts of things!

A case of 'computer says no' I think. Yesterday whilst working we stopped at a drive through Costa, they had a height restriction so I couldn't drive through like the cars were, so I walked up to the drive through counter and some twatty little teen starts squeaking at me,'I can't serve you for your own safety!', and I was like, 'no one's gonna run me over', lol, the thing is the main cafe was closed 'cos of covid', sigh, can the world get any stupider.
