    My response!

"Further to my last email, someone on an internet forum about watches, advised that you are currently offering a watch from the same manufacturer and a similar age.

So your reply does not really stack up.

I really would like to get to the bottom of this.

    Over to you.

    Best regards,

I do spend an inordinate amount of time looking at watches on the internet.

Maybe they'd only accept it as part of a trade in?

Good luck with it anyway Alex.

A good hobby keeps us from other mischief!

I have had the watch so long, I'm not really bothered about selling, only problem is that I mislaid it a couple of times in the past. I now keep it locked up in a safe place.

I have a friend who would wet herself if she saw the purple watch, she loves anything purple.
Anyway my latest addition to my small collection comes from the 1970s. It's in really good condition and appears to be keeping very good time.
