.....and so my Yes sojourn continues, this album I originally purchased on cassette when I was 15 in 1973, I suppose I was already a die-hard prog and hard rocker even then, although my musical tastes have broadened since then. Tales from Topographic Oceans is a beautiful work IMHO, there are some great melodies and interplay between the band with a lovely use of harmonics. Verging on a classical recording but using modern instruments, and some lovely vocals. I have returned to this many times over the years and I would recommend you sit down in a good mood, relax and listen to this one, you may be surprised.
