Might have picked up glue from the sleeve of paper one and if got slightly damp in storage a deep clean should sort itIt's almost as old as the Nick Cave one, but somehow stayed in great shape. Whereas Nick Cave, getting it's second play in 35 years, crackly as buggery. Don't know how that happened

Yes, you could be right - I'm always more attracted to bluesy artists, so perhaps I'm being a bit unfair the Edgar Winter. But everytime I have seen him (on TV), he's come across as being not very good, just flash.

Spinning now, and it is rather good, Herb Alpert an extremely successful musician, don't knock it if you have not tried it.

By the way this album (an early pressing this one) is excellently produced, with great separation and soundstage, a good test listening record IMO.
