Yeah; really enjoying it Grant.
Haven't had their stuff before; bought it from the Dunkeld Whisky Shop when we were up there in Feb; my brother had just landed, so we had a walk into Dunkeld in the snow, some lunch and then went to look the shop over as it was only a few months old. Some cracking stuff in there, gave us lots of tastes too, so came away with a nice sherried drop (the Glenrothes) and a young (only 15 year old haha) , sprightly and very green apple tasting peated bottle of Springbank (which I've supped already) haha

ive got a bottle of the 15 springbank, and a 12..unopened thoYeah; really enjoying it Grant.

You have an amazing selection , I am ruined for ever on Scotch , in 1992 I could get a bottle of Mc Callan 21 year single malt for $75.00 a bottle or $7.00 a shot. Now for the same bottle $1,000 !!!

Scotch prices just exploded here 15 years ago and never came back down.
I used to treat my self to a bottle once every month or two . Lincoln Hill Golf course had very good bottle prices.
I will drink Johnny Walkers Black label once in a while but it is just not the same.
There is nothing better than a really mellow scotch .

For me, pretty much all lager [not BEER though, I *must* make that distinction, as that's a different animal] made in the UK tastes like pishwater... Lager, or more correctly, Pils, is a foreign thing. We simply don't do it well, in the way that we can produce some truly outstanding, world-class real ales (beer), so I wouldn't touch any of the former with a bargepole.
I guess, as ever, it boils down to whether you drink lager (Pils) to savour and enjoy it, in moderation, and therefore appreciate it when it's done well, or simply neck it to get pished, in which case quantity (and price) will always outweigh quality.
