Anyone have opinions or experiences on Roksan CD players?
Nice onkyo sacd on the wam, worth a look
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven
Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

A few years back I was shopping for an affordable but decent CD player for my daughter. After a lot of research I settled on the Marantz. I won’t swear to the model number but maybe a 4004?It was about $400 new. And from all the reviews I could find it had a higher reliability rate than most other brands. After I got it home, I did a side by side sound quality test against my Sony ES, and it was so similar it was hard to tell the difference. That’s been many years back, and it’s still working well. So, I’m sure you can find an even higher model Marantz used for £400, well worth consideration.
