ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

Yes, of course, you can always ask why. It’s not an easy answer though. In short I guess the show has lost the original mojo for me. You have to remember I’ve been to all the previous shows, but looking at this years contributors I’ve heard it all before (full respect to those who go to extraordinary lengths to take part though). However, the weird and extreme side has been decreasing/alienated over the years and that is where my own interest lies. The same sensation of ennui also seems to be shared by my audio friends and that also discourages me from attending. For newbies I still strongly recommend it - but I’m not a newbie.... .. .

What sort of equipment would it take to get you there? Ridiculously large horns and things like that?

Well, yes - expensive exotica, the very rare or the very whacky - extraordinary DIY horns etc. (All of this has been at past Wam shows). Having said that, a friend seems keen to go so I may yet attend.

Me and Mrs. P will find a pub to eat at on the way home, and have a bit of something at the hotel for lunch, as long as their prices don't take the piss. Maybe call at the Greggs on way down.
