Haha - one of my favourite films! Dunno about that though, you just look a little 'menacing', which is kind of cool. I'd look slightly 'menacing' too, but in the wrong way, if I let the hair that's left grow around the baldy bits! Which is why it's kept super-short!

He's a boffin. You're allowed to have hair like that if you're a boffin. If you meet someone who claims to be a boffin and they don't have crazy hair that's how you know they're lying.

I get it, but I doubt I'd have adopted that look, even had it been in fashion when I was a teenager, as I've always wanted to look young, even when I was young [plus my old man would've kicked my arse for going out looking like Catweazle], and now I'm older, I still like to look as young as possible (and dress that way, too), which is why I don't 'do' beards.

It's also why I keep my hair (what's left) super-short [much easier looked after that way, too], rather than allow any grey hair that's there to grow and become really obvious, or worse go for the 'Friar Tuck' look!!

If you want to look as young as possible, when you're in your 50s and over, then stay clean-shaven and keep your hair (if applicable) as short as possible. Quite simply, there's nothing more ageing, aside from a bushy grey beard, as long (dirty and unkept) straggly grey hair, especially with a big bald patch in the middle!

Nothing wrong with dressing as young as possible, but I think the Pampers 'Pull ups' are going a bit too far.

I'm sticking with my lady-tickler for the time being - it went past the grey bits stage a few years ago, and now it's completely blond. Mrs. P disagrees about the colour, she thinks it's white, but what do women know about hair colouring?

That's a look that improves with distance - I'm glad that distance is 200 miles, otherwise I'd be sleeping with the light on tonight.

True, lol... It's just not a look I dig. Reminds me of my old chemistry teacher, who looked like that, and also as if he'd been dressed by his mum. Why do 'academics' so often have no fashion sense?

I've never seen Eggheads, so I dunno what a wannabe boffin looks like. Round our way, it's all beards, 'man-buns' and tweed. Which is fair enough. No doubt I looked a right tit in my flared trousers and platform boots.
