Cats have very frustrating eating habits. Mia won't eat fresh fish, chicken or pretty much anything fresh however, whatever I'm eating she wants weather its fish, meat and anything in between. She does love her Felix pouches though, eaten in a strict order of business. First step is to lick all the gravy or jelly off and then have a nap. Second, eat half the meat and then have a nap. Last step, eat some biscuits and then finish the rest of the meat and then have a proper wash and a full on sleep. Of course not forgetting pestering for Dreamies.

Had a root canal job done at the dentist this morning. Unexpectedly, it was totally painless. I didn't even feel the anaesthetic injection. That's a first for me!

Plenty of other places in London where those coppers could be useful.

I have nothing against the protestors, we just need more police, and we need them to be where the crimes are actually being committed.
I don't know - no doubt there is some international convention on the level of protection of foreign embassy staff required to be provided by the host country. There were about a dozen police officers - none of whom seemed to be armed.

Think they might have also been there to prevent harassment of members of the public entering and leaving the embassy.

I had some done a few years ago. Expensive, but as you say utterly painless.

Think I had three sessions of up to an hour and a half in the chair. I was surprised to learn my dentist drilled down 2.5cm into the jaw in places, the depth being monitored by a conductivity measurement.

I’m going in for a total knee joint replacement surgery on Tuesday morning. They are just doing the left knee, I’ll have to come back for the right knee next year.

But, it seems they have streamlined this procedure a great deal. Instead of installing a huge ball joint in place of the knee, now they only place a plate over the ends of the bone, at the point of contact. Like getting new brake pads. No muscles or ligaments are cut, I’ll be up walking as soon as anesthesia wears off. I had to attend a class on the procedure, and one woman asked how soon she could return to work, and they told her one month! So I’m going into this with great expectations. Wish me luck!

Indeed. Good luck. Should make a big difference to your mobility and hopefully pain levels.

See if they can do it like they did with Steve Austin so you can run as fast as a car. Huge fuel saving. Although the op might cost 6 million dollars...
