I've used records with serious dynamics in the past, I found them informative when setting up Decca cartridges as some tracks tended to reveal the tracking issues Deccas were known for. (much as loved Deccas, I no longer use them)

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
