So as I am about to embark on ripping 3000 cd's I am faced with that decision that many of you have already dealt with - what format to choose.
AIFF and Flac seem to be the 2 most chosen - I am planning to get a Sonos system to play it through, and need album art to show, and have limited internet access, meaning the easier it is the better. I also have a lot of cover-mounted magazine cd's (The Word, Uncut etc) that I would like track detail and cover art if possible. Storage space is not a big issue, as I plan to buy a 4 bay NAS with 2x1.5tb drives to start with, and then add another 2 when I can afford them..
If any of this makes sense to anyone, then please put me straight !
