After a lovely evening listening with my Pi connected to a MCRU power supply, it's a no brainer for me. I'm just loving it.

Good stuff Rob, Nick knows how to make a good PSU I'm just in the throws of tweaking my DIY version, I need to drop a few more volts and will do that with another stage of regulation...

Fantastic reading (been here for the last two nights) but well worth it !!!
I am going to dip my toes in the water too but i have a question regarding the Volumio interface, which is can this be controlled on my tablet via an app? If so can i see all my albums and select just one to play, also can i see all my tracks as a complete playlist and play them via random playback?

    Thanks again

Yes. Mass wisdom suggests it will only work on a fresh install.

Wow. Why not dip those feet and you will see. Yes you can select one album and random play. I do not use it like that. Get those feet wet

Does anyone control the RPi with a tablet device other than an Apple? There are plenty of other makes out there. I'm just not an Apple person you see.
