I was still in the bath about half an hour before the wedding. My sister had to pull me out kicking and screaming apparently. I don't remember. I don't recall much about any of the day.

I remember my bride being late. I said to the brother...right shes not coming.lets go and made b line for the door.
oh no you dont he said and bullied me into remaining. she was 15 mins late....longest 15 mins of my life and i now know how a co!demned man feels

Lucky man. I regretted this one during the honeymoon. I drove us down onto the beach for a romantic interlude and the damn car got stuck in the sand with the tide coming in. Had to get a garage out to pull us out. I thought it was funny. Sadly my new bride didn't share my enthusiasm and it got even stickier thereafter. It took me another 25 years to get married again and fortunately, this time I have no regrets.I remember my bride being late. I said to the brother...right shes not coming.lets go and made b line for the door.
