If you mean the speakers dude they are exceptionally good, "however" too expensive IMO. They are based on Snell as Peter I was told bought all the designs when Snell went bust, and luckily I saw a set of Snells for sale on the forum so bought them instantly, picked them up from Luton on friday, took them to owston on the way back up the M1, just got home a few hours ago, we listened to them at owston and I have to say they performed admirably.

Here is a pic I took a few hours ago...

Yes dude, today and tomorrow (up to lunch time tomorrow). 20 or so DIY nutters like Nick who build their own amps, dacs, pre-amps etc, etc. I say "nutters" in a nice way as we all got on well.

There were about 5 systems on show including Ali Tait's who I met for the first time last night, we had a few beers and a nice chat.

Mine and Nick's system was the Snells, the 401 and the wand, Nick's valve amp and pre-amp and various bits of wanky wire as some people like to call it! Very hard to get a good sound as the room is bad, at least we all got on and had a nice meeting.

Yup, I know. They're excellent... I've been quite a few times, dude. The only reason I mentioned it was because Ali normally advertises the fests here, and unless I've missed it, I don't remember seeing any notification of such...

Not to worry. Glad you had a good time. Make sure that when all the pics are taken that you post a link to them here from Audio Talk!

It's arrived. Looks good. Will put everything together over the weekend. Its a bit of a job. Need to fit the new tonearm, change bearing oil, check everything is level, sort "bounce" on the Michell, fit cart and cable. Then hopefully enjoy.
