Martin looks like we're in luck, he was selected by the band as a backup (Jon Anderson has respiratory issues at the moment ), due to him fronting a Yes tribute band, and sounding Anderson like...

I'm not sure Martin, never looked to be honest I saw Yes in Bristol last year and he did sound very much like Jon Anderson, in fact I saw Jon Anderson at The Anvil recently and he didn't sound like Jon Anderson!

Some people have no idea what they're doing and a lot of them are really good at it.

Yes, I saw him at the Anvil (with Wakeman) and they were a funny pair. Shame you and I didn't meet up, must do that next time.

I've had a good perusal and you're right, this is looking very promising. Thanks for the links.

Just come out of seeing Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour and Nick Mason at the O2 I was row 3 too There'd been rumours about Dave earlier in the day, but Nick was a total surprise. Doing tambourine on 'Outside The Wall'.

    Top gig

They came out well! Just off my phone... I'll upload some more later - I'm at the bar at the moment! Nothing like up to the minute reportage!

Yep, it was a good position as you can see from my phone shot (funny how searching for cameras in concerts has disappeared since every phone is a camera) but unfortunately Ruth, who is only 5' 0", had a hard time seeing anything so had to sneak into the aisle for quick bursts of full vision.

I did miss the outstanding version of Welcome to the Machine that Waters did at the last gig I saw him at, it had some of the most extraordinarily gut-wrenching bass I've ever heard.
