I'm just surprised that after buying one pair of Castle speakers he bought eight more! ;0)

I'd second that i've got a set of Kendal II's and i'm very impressed, I would definately by another pair.

I have never heard any woolly bass from any Castles, in fact they tend to be a tad dry but accurate if anything

Lets agree to differ, i know what KEF bass units including the B139 sound like (which admittedly was vastly better than the bextrene stuff that was woolly as Shaun the sheep) & i'll take a nice light pulp diaphram a la Castle any day of the week

It takes all kinds, Colin. Your beloved Linn speakers would loosen my fillings in 30 seconds flat. Except, curiously, the Linn Index which was as dull as a dull thing. For me the Linn Kans were an all-time low point in speaker design.
