Default Crap weather for October 2026

14C and slightly misty. Expected to be a nice sunny day today, reaching a maximum of 21C, and free from rain.

A decent start to the day. Mild, clear and sunny. No wind.

Still another month yet before we enter the 16 weeks of perpetual darkness.

We've decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and have a drive down to Southport, where we will take a walk down the long road there, like all the other old folks.

There is an 'emporium' there, which includes a couple of stalls selling secondhand records and CDs. Not been there for about ten years. They were pretty cheap back then, it'll be interesting to see what their prices are like now.

Not true, dude, there will also be plenty of crisp winter mornings, where the sun is shining, and which I love - and in the evenings candles are lit and we snuggle down in front of the wood burner, and the room's nice and cosy. You can't do that in the summer months

Marco (loves all the seasons for what they are).
