Too early for tunes, so that just leaves the news channel. Looking at Sky News (with the world's worst weather forecast) it might rain or it might not. BBC Weather say dry till lunchtime, then rain for the rest of the day. Only 8C right now.

My cat had a more direct approach. No purring, he'd just continually slap me round the face until I got up.
Closing the bedroom door to keep him out was not a solution. He'd batter on the door. Sounded like he was using a baseball bat, I've no idea how he made so much noise.
