CEC CD5 CD/SACD player dac
New in for this week a rather cracking optical disc player, The CEC CD5 plays CD & SACD's (the SACD playback is Via USB input using DoP into the dac section of this player only) to a rather decent standard plus it sports digital to analogue inputs so you can use your streamer/pure digital radio/TV through its superb dac. The player we have is black and in superb condition, with all original boxes and remote. It is a genuine UK model supplied by Sound Council of Edinburgh. One previous owner. CEC are a long standard japanese audio company that have produced some of the most natural digital CD replay devices in existence.
The CEC CD5 produces a very natural grain free and fluid sound. Smooth and analogue sounding, fatigue free with wonderful tonality and texture. A great addition to any quality audio system. Those listeners looking for the refinement, yet with great timbre and an articulate sound then look no further. Build quality is first class. New cost £4200.
