Thanks Barry I used to have an interest in these speakers as I owned a pair of Teesdale SP2s with the isodynamic tweeters but always wanted a bigger pair. As far as I could tell they made a Dovedale SP2 (which has a smaller woofer but 2 of them so a larger speaker) but they didn't upgrade the Airedale SP to an SP2 when they added the ribbon style tweeters to the range. (So the link I gave above is technically incorrect as he describes them as a Airedale SP2, which didn't exist, they are in fact just the SP - if anyone has ever found an Airedale SP2 please let me know!)

A perspex cased (or may be open baffle) speaker in a 1990 episode of ‘Bergerac’ (he’d left the Bureau des Étrangers by now and was a private dick).

Yep, middle of season 2, working our way through it when we’re back in hotel room (brought firestick).

And I think these are the speakers. Ohm Walsh 5, omni-directional.

American TV shows do like their fancy pants speakers. From the series "Billions":

    Finished legacy to now.

Nice attention to detail, Bosch had some spare kit to, could be seen on a couple of occasions.

Ballard crossing over into Bosch shows a particular interest in his rig but major continuity error when Bosch appears in Ballard he’s still a cop, when she’s in Bosch he’s retired but it’s apparently the first time they’ve met?

Yeah, a lot of the storylines have been messed about with, probably to make it all more appealing visually and to fit into the one hour slots too.

If you read the books you would see many glaring differences with the characters too - like Bosch not having a daughter, his courtroom nemesis Honey Chandler being murdered quite early on, and partner Jerry Edgar being a bit of a lazy sod with no real commitment to the work. Still all entertaining enough though.
