Very well regarded and well reviewed. Pure valve gain stage with no solid state stage at all (eg no opamps).
Nice condition including the remote and original box. No manual but likely can be found online.
These are very analogue and musical sounding. No harshness or brightness anywhere.
Upgrades:
• Tubes have been upgraded to the rare NEC 12AD7 which were only made for 2 years in the 1950’s for recording equipment. (Originals are 12AX7).
• Output caps have been upgraded to Clairy Cap ESA types and 1 Elna Silmic.
• All power supply capacitors upgraded to Nichicon KX and KA
CD uses a true Philips transport mechanism albeit not a high end variety.
also has digital out so can be used as a standalone transport.
