Caiman - Murata reg fitting plus fixing pop with passive mod
Hi All,
I received 12v and 5v Murata regs from Gary (Gazjam) a week or two back and am trying to find info on fitting them, but having ploughed through the big thread, I can't see anything. Can someone give me some instructions on how to fit them? Are there any other changes (cap, resistor replacements etc) that need doing at the same time?
Also, since going to the passive output mod using 4u7 Clarity Caps, I often get a very loud 'pop' through the speakers when a track starts playing. Anyone know how to stop this?
Cheers,
Keith
