Do you mean the motor and arm need sorting ? the motor is an Origin live DC 100 and its box of tricks is a diy version of the origin Advanced kit and it works very nicely in this deck.
As for the arm i dont think you can do much more to an RB250, its had the full works apart from holes in the armtube, and sounds awsome imo.
If i do anything else it will be a deeper acrylic platter, say 50/60mm thick, and a pu7 if i win the lottery
I do have a plot hatching for a circular granite T/T with seperate granite "pods" for motor and arm, that way i can try different arms and drive systems and i may even go the Vectra route with flywheels in two other granite pods for the triangular drive used on the Funk etc.
But this design may have too much mass to lift single handed, a 12" dia x 60mm deep lump of cosmo granite will be heavy, and by the time you add the pods and another slab to mount it all on it may well be way over 100k and wont be travelling to any bake offs.
