    I have been watching The Event of late, not a bad series at the end of the day Certainly ok for £9 off of fleabay

    I thought The Event was pretty good too. It's a shame it was cancelled before season 2.

    cannot believe it.. two rubbish films in one night.
    High Fidelity and The Expendables

    shame as I thought the book of High Fidelity by Nick Hornby was excellent.
    even Catherine Zeta Jones couldn't maintain my interest in that film!

    I disagree Guy, I thought High Fidelity was a rather good film and own a copy.

    Having been glued to the Olympics for the last couple of weeks, I've developed a rather bad habit of following the evenings viewing by watching a DVD (that is, if not playing music).

    Over the last couple of weeks, I have watched:

    Gorky Park


    Manhunter


    The Fabulous Baker Boys


    American Beauty


    Memento


    The Machinist



    and several episodes from Jeeves and Wooster

    Man hunter is fabulous film, I especially love the way music is used in this film.
