yes it was a pretty good film for its day. A scene had to be cut out when Janet Munro bared her chest... too much for -61..

I can remember seeing it at the cinema, but I doubt I would have been old enough to see it on first release, so it must have been some time later than 1961.
Can't say it made an impression on me. (Though if the deleted scene had been included. I think I would have remembered.)
