There have been a few good films based on Forsyth's books, such as: 'The Day of the Jackal' and 'The Fourth Protocol'.
I think "the film of the book" can often be a bit disappointing, but these transferred well to the big screen imo. Actually I've never read "The Fourth Protocol", but you've put it in my head now. So it'll be next up on the Kindle
