Stars John Mills as Polly. Findlay Currie steals a few scenes as the evil drunk, Uncle Jim.
They remade it 15 years ago ish with I think Lee Evans in the role. Save your money and time. Get the original

This stars Tom Hanks and Paul Newman in a fairly graphic American crime syndicate drama.
Directed my Sam Menses from the novel by Max Allan Collins.
Quite a slow and at times dreary affair but also very well done.
Cast is superb and also includes Daniel Craig and Jude Law.
