    The Double (2011) - Russian spy intrigue in the US, with curious twists, and for a pleasant change, Richard Gere is handed a script for a character whic works well. An impressive film I'll need to watch again for all those bits that should have given an earlier clue.
    Recommended.

    Really excellent SF love story, well acted by Matt Damon (showing his feminine side) and a stunning looking Emily Blunt playing the chased woman that fate has deemed he can't be with. Great ideas, well executed and not at all sentimental, just different.

    upgrading my old VHS collection to BR and here is the lastest pick up:



    Awesome transfer, I would say reference level for a non animated or heavy CGI film. The sound come in 5.1 uncompressed ( first I've seen that type of label for sound 48Khz 24bit) but it leaped out of my speakers with ease.
