Yes, very good book, I've read it a few times. Gregory Peck in the film IIRC - actor or cockney rhyming slang?

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

A thought-provoking film: hilarious and troublesome at the same time.

    Rabbit-proof Fence

One of the most shocking and moving films I have seen for a long time.

It's an utterly brilliant piece of film-making isn't it?

Yes it certainly is. I first saw it a few years ago, but seeing it again tonight on BBC4 made me realise what a powerful fim it is.

Shocking, for revealing the totally misguided and racist policy practised in Australia, only to be discontinued as late as the 1970s. And moving - well, I was close to tears watching it again!

I didn't know it was being shown tonight, or I would have watched or recorded it.

Surely you should know by now that it would be very foolish to rely on me for anything!
