Yes it certainly is. I first saw it a few years ago, but seeing it again tonight on BBC4 made me realise what a powerful fim it is.
Shocking, for revealing the totally misguided and racist policy practised in Australia, only to be discontinued as late as the 1970s. And moving - well, I was close to tears watching it again!
