It's a superb series Paul, the missus and I are hooked. The standard of acting from the entire cast is top notch as are the scripts and production values, I like the theme tune too

I watched Enders Game yesterday evening and whilst it has its faults I enjoyed it immensely, a great twist at the end too

    'Secrets and Lies'

A Mike Leigh's film, so raw, gritty but ultimately life-affirming.

    'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen'

Decent film made of the quirky novel of the same name. Starring the lovely Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas.

It was always one of my favourite books and the film is not a bad interpretation at all, in the manner of Starship Trooper compared with that book.

    Anything to do with Amstrad?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Divergent

Part Brave New World, part 1984, a reasonably intelligent take on a future world designed to avoid the errors of a past world war, but falling foul of the usual human desire to rule and control. Thought provoking, as are all good SF films, and very well played by the unknown Shailene Woodley in the lead part. I enjoyed it.

Thankfully not or it would have been slung. Its a "rockumentary" if you've not seen it.
