I stuck with a 42" Panny as I thought the 46" might dominate a little. I needn't have worried. People's eyes actually bulge when they see my speakers for the first time. It's the near 1m depth that's the killer.

Oh yes, Inception sounds quite superb

I have a 120" screen on the wall Yep, 10ft diagonal... Not quite the same as a TV but rather large, in fact it's quite subtle.

As this room is going to be about the tidiest it has been since i redecorated it having cleaned it out years ago i'll get some pics up of the complete system pretty soon

1M deep No wonder they weight a ton

    ATB chap!

I was going to borrow that off a pal on Saturday night only I drank too much and wandered off without it. Looks interesting...

I'm an occasional DVD viewer. I have a modest collection of ~ 200 titles (I haven't counted them); mostly 'World Cinema' and 'Sci-Fi'.

Over the past few weeks, I have watched:

Blade Runner (The director's cut), dir. Ridley Scott

THX 1138 (The George Lucas director's cut) 2 x disc

    Duel, dir. Steven Spielberg

Being John Malkovich, dir. Spike Jonze

The World's Fastest Indian, dir. David Gribble

    Gosford Park, dir. Robert Altman

    Stalker, dir. Andrei Tarkovsky.
Tarkovsky's second sci-fi film after Solaris.

    Ran, dir. Akira Kurosawa
    Based of Shakespear's King Lear.

Bombón - el perro (Bombon - the dog) dir. Carlos Sorin

THX 1138 is one of those movies that I've just never got round to watching. Sci-Fi is my favourite genre too. Actually, now I think about it I've still not seen 2001 all the way through yet. I must remedy this ASAP.
